On September 7, a Shenzhen Cell Valley delegation comprising Chairman Shi Yuanyuan, Deputy General Manager Tang Xiaomeng, Head of Marketing Sun Rui, Director of the General Administration Office Luan Zhishi, and Training Specialist Ran Xu visited the School of Food and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shenzhen Polytechnic University for exchange. Professor Liu Dong, Dean of the School; Associate Professor Liu Ran, Director of the Pharmacy Program; Professor Zhang Lijun, Director of the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Program; Associate Professor Tang Yongjun, Head of the Practical Training Center; and Assistant Researcher He Qian extended a warm welcome and held symposium discussions on specific cooperation matters.

Accompanied by Professor Zhang Lijun, Director of the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Program, and Associate Professor Tang Yongjun, Head of the Practical Training Center, the Shenzhen Cell Valley team toured the school's high-level professional experimental and practical training laboratories in biotechnology, testing and inspection, pharmacy, and food science, gaining a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the school's overall strength and talent training capabilities.

During the symposium, Dean Liu Dong provided a detailed introduction to the school's overview, teaching platform, and faculty. Chairman Shi Yuanyuan highly praised the school's teaching philosophy, its one-stop industry-academia-research-application training program, its advanced and well-equipped teaching instruments, and its high-level teaching and training achievements. The two parties then engaged in in-depth discussions on university-enterprise cooperation and joint talent cultivation.

Chairman Shi Yuanyuan stated that cell and gene therapy, as an emerging industry, urgently needs to address talent pain points. Under the leadership of Dean Liu Dong, the School of Food and Pharmaceutical Sciences has built a high-level industry-education integration training base, cultivating talent with rich practical experience and providing strong talent support for biopharmaceutical development. Shenzhen Cell Valley possesses core and advanced technological advantages in the cell and gene therapy field, a mature training model, and close cooperation with universities. It can fully utilize high-quality resources and shared platforms to accelerate talent cultivation in the cell therapy industry and promote the industrialization of the cell and gene therapy field. This exchange enabled both parties to precisely align needs and advance the construction of a training platform.
